On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Situation Room,” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) spoke about a special interview with Attorney General Merrick Garland to oversee the investigation into President Joe Biden’s classified documents. Prosecutor Robert Herr is a Republican and claimed to be a Republican. He made “ageist and age-denigrating statements” about President Biden in the report, raising concerns about Biden’s age.
Mr. Ruskin said:[T]His Republican special counsel said Joe Biden has been completely positive and cooperative and has not filed criminal charges. He also took an unprovoked slap at Joe Biden because of his age, and a lot of this kind of ageism and age-insulting comments are getting pretty disgusting. What a special prosecutor like Mr. Huh really needs to do is decide whether someone is guilty or not. [are] There is no legal basis to move forward, he said there. [are] do not have. And he didn’t have to take all those cheap shots and obviously could take the same kind of cheap shots against Donald Trump. He recently confused a woman he sexually assaulted and then lied to one of his own wives. He confused Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) with Representative Nikki Haley. ”
Host Wolf Blitzer said, “The special counsel’s report says President Biden couldn’t remember when he was vice president or even when his son Beau died. It is important to note that we are seriously concerned about the age of President Biden. Does this make us more wary about President Biden’s fitness to serve another term?”
Ruskin replied: “Well, definitely, that’s Robert Herr from my state, he’s a Republican from Maryland, that’s definitely what he meant with that stupid cheap shot. I’m President Biden. and just spent an hour with the entire Democratic caucus, where he regaled everyone for an hour and explained all the extraordinary accomplishments of the Biden administration, including the Anti-Inflation Act. They have the best economy, they create millions of jobs, they maintain a record that’s just phenomenal. So they’re going to come up with a cheap shot like that. To me, Wolf, it’s It reminds me of when they took cheap shots based on gender when Hillary Clinton ran for president, and now they’re taking all these cheap shots based on age. [Joe Biden]. And it shows how desperate they are. Because you can flip them and use all the same things against Donald Trump. Trump spends every day trying to figure out who he’s attacking today, or that day, and what incident he’s basing his attacks on. the criminal act he is committing. ”
