Biden Threatens to Further Cut Deportations Unless Congress Funnels Billions to Border Crossers

President Joe Biden is threatening to further reduce deportations of illegal aliens, many of them border crossers, unless Congress approves billions of dollars in spending for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This will fund their release to the United States and the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support them. Please resettle them.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said this week. Said Reporters say that unless the House and Senate pass billions of dollars in funding for DHS and NGOs that help process border crossers into the U.S. interior to expedite the flow of border crossers into the U.S. interior, Biden will not be able to implement immigration tariffs. He said he would consider reducing the number of deportations made by ICE agents.

“ICE will continue to operate underfunded in the coming weeks as Congressional Republicans choose partisan politics over national security and refuse to pass a bipartisan national security agreement that includes significant border reform and funding.” We will have to downsize,” Jean-Pierre said. he said on Air Force One.

We asked Congress for additional funding and resourcesand each time Congress has given us less than we asked for, or most recently ignored our supplemental requests entirely. [Emphasis added]

Jean-Pierre’s comments come as a bill from Sens. James Lankford (R-Okla.), Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (Iowa-Ariz.) and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is in the Senate. It was announced after it was rejected. This bill, among other things, would funnel countless American taxpayer dollars to DHS and contract NGOs to effectively attract border crossers into American communities.

Specifically, the bill provided $1.4 billion for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Shelter and Services Program (SSP) and $2.3 billion for the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Refugee Entry and Assistance Program.

Both programs are big bucks for NGOs that help the federal government facilitate illegal immigration into the interior of the United States.

As Breitbart News has reported, Biden has consistently reduced deportations of even illegal aliens who have committed the most heinous crimes. Mr. Biden is deporting about one illegal alien for every 70 who arrive at the U.S.-Mexico border, according to the latest ICE data.

ICE’s fiscal year 2023 deportation numbers also reveal that the country’s 11 million to 22 million illegal aliens are unlikely to be deported. For example, last year, illegal aliens had less than a 5 percent chance of being deported from the United States by ICE agents.
