Former President Donald Trump defeated former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-South Carolina) in the U.S. Virgin Islands Republican caucus on Thursday night, hours before the Nevada caucus.
With an estimated 99% of the vote as of 10 p.m. ET, Trump received 182 votes, or 74%, to Haley’s 64, giving her only 26% of the total votes and 4 delegates from the territory. NBC News reported that he won by a landslide. report.

The 45th president was on the phone with people in the Virgin Islands on Thursday afternoon while en route to Nevada aboard a Boeing 757 known as Trump Force One, according to an Instagram post.
“On my way to Great Nevada, I was talking to patriots from the U.S. Virgin Islands voting for the Republican presidential nomination,” he wrote. “Let’s win these caucuses and defeat crooked Joe Biden. Let’s make America great again!”
As Trump Force One touched down in Las Vegas, the 45th president celebrated his victory in the Virgin Islands in another post on Truth Social.
“Great news! As we arrived in Nevada and were preparing to go to the caucuses, we just received word that all delegates in the Virgin Islands caucuses won by a landslide with about 75% of the vote. “I just called the people involved to thank them,” he wrote.
