Democratic presidential candidate Dean Phillips on Friday called President Biden’s “decline” following special counsel Robert Hur’s report that found Biden has trouble remembering basic events in his life. said it was clear.

“Anyone with their eyes open can see what’s going on,” Phillips said of Biden. “I think it’s unfortunate. I think it’s embarrassing. And I think it’s sad. “Brian, I’m trying to encourage Americans on the center right and the center left to come together as a tired majority, because we’re becoming more and more laughed at around the world.” said Phillips. FOX News’ Brian Kilmeade.

The Minnesota congressman’s high-profile primary challenge to Biden has frustrated some members of his party, but the congressman has yet to resonate in a meaningful way. Biden won 96% of the vote in this week’s South Carolina Democratic primary, but Phillips finished third behind Biden and Marianne Williamson with just 1.7%.
Phillips told Kilmeade that both former President Trump and Biden are too old to serve as president.
“I know most Americans feel the same way,” Phillips said. “What bothers me is a political system, a duopoly, that increasingly only elevates people who are less valued.”
Phillips, who has previously criticized the media for denying him airtime, said it was important for mainstream media to help people “wake up” to Biden’s failed political opportunity.
“If people don’t wake up soon, we’re going to have a really serious problem,” Phillips said. “When millions of people get their news from a single source, It influences people’s opinions.”
