Incredible dashcam footage captured the moment a driver was confronted by gunfire in broad daylight in Jackson, Mississippi.
Footage of the incident, which is currently being investigated by the Jackson Police Department, begins with the driver turning right at an intersection and approaching a gas station.
Multiple gunshots were then heard, including automatic gunfire, and a gray sedan was seen making a U-turn in front of the car with the gunman hanging out the rear passenger side window.
“Oh my god, there’s a shootout here!” the driver said as the gunman appeared to be pointing his gun at the gas station.

The video ends with the driver backing away from the scene.
The Jackson Police Department said in a statement obtained by news website Dark Horse Press that the shooting happened on Adkins Street. The accident near I-55 Frontage Road is not recent, but the investigation is ongoing.

There were no reports of injuries related to the shooting, the website added.
