The son of the late Toby Keith has paid tribute to the country music star who died on Monday at the age of 62, calling his father “the embodiment of the American spirit.”
Stellen Keith Kobel posted a tribute to her father on Instagram on Friday.
“You are the strongest man I have ever known. A fighter. A true giant of the industry. My guiding star. My coach. My hero. The embodiment of the American spirit,” he wrote. Ta.
“You are a man whose strength, talent, and talents are only surpassed by your abilities as a father and husband.”
Toby Keith passed away on Monday at the age of 62 after a battle with stomach cancer. “Toby Keith passed away peacefully last night, February 5th, surrounded by his family. He fought with grace and courage. Please respect his family’s privacy at this time.” the family said in a statement.
The country music star is unabashedly patriotic and masculine, with hit singles like “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue,” “I Love This Bar” and “Should’ve Been a Cowboy.” I sent it out into the world.
As Breitbart News reported, leftists are celebrating Keith’s death by rehashing his political feud with the Dixie Chicks and fellow singer Kris Kristofferson.
