Disney on Ice performer Anastasia Olson recovering after horrific fall during ‘Beauty and the Beast’ show

An ice skater who was left in critical condition after falling while performing during a Disney on Ice show in Minnesota is recovering in a Minneapolis hospital Monday, reports said.

Anastasia Olson, 31, was performing the role of Belle in “Beauty and the Beast” at Target Center when another performer accidentally dropped it and urinated on her.

Olson’s condition was updated from critical to critical on Monday. According to the Star Tribune.

Further information about her recovery was not immediately available.

One local mother, identified by the station as Bekah, said Bell appeared to be “shaking” before she fell while riding in a lift with the actor playing the Beast.

“She was doing a lift and she was unsteady and fell,” her mother said, adding that she was injured about 40 minutes after the 11 a.m. show started.

“I am extremely grateful to the remaining staff and performers who continued to work to protect the magic of children. I know it must have been very difficult,” she added.
