1 Dead And 21 Gunshot Victims In Super Bowl Rally Shooting, 3 Arrested

More than 20 people were shot during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade. One person was confirmed dead as of Wednesday afternoon.

Kansas City, Missouri, Police Chief Stacey Graves announced that eight of the 21 shooting victims currently have life-threatening injuries. At the press conference, it was also confirmed that nine of the patients being treated for gunshot wounds were minors.

Three people are currently in custody. Video circulating online showed witnesses confronting a person believed to be one of the gunmen. However, this information has not yet been confirmed by the police.

“We’re trying to determine if this is one of the three people seen in that video of fans assisting police,” Police Chief Graves said.

Police have not yet released the identities of the victims or the name of the alleged shooter. A motive has also not been determined. Despite this, images of the alleged shooter are still being posted on social media platforms and Getty Images.

Additionally, the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs football team released statements regarding the tragic parade incident.
