Things got heated in the Bay Area Wednesday night.
Early in the fourth quarter of the Clippers’ 130-125 win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, a hard foul on the Clippers’ Mason Plumlee brought both teams together on the court and ultimately led to the loss of Los Angeles. Head was sent off. Coach Tyronn Lue.
Minutes earlier, things got dicey when the Warriors’ Draymond Green was called for a shooting foul on Plumlee attempting a layup.
Plumlee was fouled hard at the basket, and Lue appeared to ask the officials to reconsider the call, resulting in a technical foul on Lue during the altercation.
Star player James Harden had to stop his coach from taking any further action.
Less than a minute later, Plumlee was trying to take a shot in the paint again, but missed Green’s defense and appeared to be hit.
Plumlee showed obvious signs of frustration and hit Brandin Podzemski approximately three times with his right hand as he retrieved the rebound.
Podzemski fell to the ground with the ball in his hands and the whistle blew as officials had to separate players from both teams to prevent further escalation of the situation.

However, during the scuffle, Lue received a second technical and was sent off, giving Plumlee a flagrant one.
Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga also received a technical, which was offset by a foul on Lue, but the coach was still ejected from the game.
Trailing by nine points when Lue was ejected, the Clippers fought back to win by five without their head coach on the bench.
