A former “good friend” of District Attorney Fani Willis testified Thursday that there was “no question” that Willis and Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade had been in a “romantic” relationship since 2019, but in court. This contradicts Willis’ statement.
Robin Yearty, a former Fulton County DA’s office official and self-described “good friend” of Willis, said Thursday that there is “no doubt” that Willis and Wade have been in a relationship since 2019. He said they were in a relationship until 2022 when they last spoke.
This means that she and Wade had “been business colleagues and friends since 2019” and that as of November 2021, when Wade was appointed, there was “no personal relationship” between her and Wade. This contradicts Wills’ claims in court.

“There is no question that their romantic relationship continued from 2019 until the last time you spoke to her, right?” attorney Ashley Merchant asked.
“Absolutely,” Ierty said.
