Wednesday’s shooting after the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade was not an act of terrorism, but the result of a dispute between individuals, police said.
new york post Quote “We recovered several firearms,” Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves said, adding that two of the three people in custody are juveniles.
Graves said the incident “appeared to be an altercation between several people that ended in gunfire.”
She added: “While we are working to identify the involvement of others, it is important to note that this incident remains a very active investigation.” .
Kansas City police have a 24-hour hotline for charging juveniles.
Police did not provide details about the type of gun used in the shooting or how it was obtained.
Breitbart News reported that more than 20 people were struck by gunfire in the shooting that occurred at 2 p.m. Wednesday. One of them, radio host Lisa López Galván, died from her wounds.
