College basketball game delayed after players get stuck in elevator

A men’s college basketball game was postponed Thursday night after a player from one team became trapped in an elevator.

The game between Long Island University and Fairleigh Dickinson University in New York couldn’t finish tipping on time because FDU Knights players needed firefighters to help them get off the elevator.

According to FOX Sports reporter John Fanta, Knights players were reportedly heading to the court from the locker room when the stalemate occurred.
