Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley have been confirmed as presenters for ITV’s This Morning.
The duo will take over after long-time hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby left the show last year.
Mr Shepherd, who hosts Good Morning Britain on the network, said: “It feels like a really special moment for Kat and I to be part of the next chapter of This Morning.”
“I’m honored to be entrusted with the reins, please join Alison.” [Hammond] and dermot [O’Leary] And the entire team who work on and off screen and do an amazing job. ”
Deeley, who made his name as host of ITV’s children’s music program CD:UK with Willoughby, described This Morning as a “national institution”.
Furthermore, she added: “Every time this show is on, I feel like I’m inviting my friends home. It’s funny, smart, silly, heartfelt, informative, fun, and awesome.” It’s the same as friendship.”
O’Leary and Hammond, hosts of Friday’s This Morning, were among the stars to congratulate the couple. O’Leary commented on the Instagram video announcing the news: Welcome to the family,” Hammond wrote, adding he was “so excited.”
TV presenter and former I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Frequent This Morning contestant Josie Gibson said: “I feel like the work welcome party is about to start!!!! !” he wrote.
