The campus was placed on brief lockdown Friday after two people were found dead after a reported shooting in a Colorado Springs college dorm room.
Police spokesperson Ira Cronin said each person was shot at least once in what appeared to be an “isolated incident” at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs around 6 a.m.
A 13-year-old Denver boy is charged with murder in the shooting death of a man who blocked the path of a bus.
“We do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community at this time,” he said at a news conference.

Cronin said the medical examiner’s office will determine how the two died, but police will not release any other details, but said police are still trying to figure out what happened. Ta.
School spokesman Chris Valentine said the campus was placed on lockdown for about an hour and a half after the shooting, but the lockdown was then isolated to an on-campus student housing complex.

That lockdown was later lifted, but the campus was closed for the day after the shooting at the school, which has more than 11,000 students and nearly 2,000 faculty and staff.
