The 2024 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game also featured some big names outside of the basketball world. However, it appears that one of music’s most prestigious artists has been disinvited.
Friday’s game featured NFL stars Micah Parsons, Puka Nacua, CJ Stroud and Super Bowl hero Mecole Hardman, as well as music artists Jennifer Hudson, Walker Hayes and Adam Blackstone.
Lil Wayne and 50 Cent also participated as coaches in the contest, along with Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe.

Chris Brown apparently received an invitation to the game, but the game’s sponsors didn’t like his presence.
Brown posted a screenshot of an email he received on January 22 with the subject line “NBA All-Star 2024 Welcome x Chris Brown.”
“Welcome to the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend. We’re excited to be a part of the weekend,” the intro said.
Brown was also given a design for the uniform he would wear. She added a “shrug” emoji to the post.
His next post appears to place the blame on one of the event’s sponsors.

“The NBA asked me to play in the All-Star Game this year!
