Rowdy anti-Israel group gathers outside Ted Cruz’s home for early morning protest: ‘harassing my family’

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz encountered a raucous crowd of anti-Israel protesters outside his Houston home on Saturday for the second time in a week.

Cruz, who has been vocal in his support for Israel amid the war with Hamas militants, wrote in a social media post Saturday morning: [2nd] This week, anti-Israel protesters have been coming to my house since early morning, waking up my neighbors and harassing my family. No one expressed concern about Hamas’ killing of more than 1,200 people or the gang rape of women and children on October 7. ”

The senator added: “I’m proud to support Israel.”

It was not immediately clear whether Mr. Cruz was at home when the protesters arrived, but footage shared online was shot from Mr. Cruz’s front door and showed more than a dozen demonstrators. The footage showed people holding placards and shouting anti-Israel chants.

Cruz’s office confirmed to Fox News Digital that protesters had previously gathered outside the Texas senator’s mansion.
