Berkeley bans natural gas
The son of former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki was found dead in his student dormitory at the University of California, Berkeley, authorities said.
University of California, Berkeley officials confirmed to Fox News Digital that Wojcicki’s 19-year-old son, Marco Troper, died earlier this week.
The University Police Department announced that the student in Clark Carr Dormitory was found unresponsive on Tuesday at approximately 4:23 p.m.
“The Berkeley Fire Department has notified UCPD that they are attempting life-saving measures for the victim,” the University of California Police Department said in a statement. “UCPD responded and the Berkeley Fire Department pronounced him deceased.”

Authorities said no signs of foul play were found at the scene.
in facebook postTroper’s grandmother, Esther Wojcicki, recalled her grandson as “the kindest, loving, smart, fun and beautiful human being.”
“Our family is devastated beyond comprehension,” the grieving grandmother wrote.
Esther Wojcicki said Troper is a math major and is “just getting started.” [sic] In the second semester of the first year. ”

“Marco’s life was cut far too short and we are all devastated thinking about all the opportunities and life experiences he will miss out on. And we will miss them out with him.” she wrote. “Marco, we all love you and miss you more than you know.”
Troper’s grieving grandmother said in a statement to SFGATE that drugs were present in Troper’s system at the time.
“He took drugs, but we don’t know what was in them,” she said. “One thing we know is it was drugs.”
Wojcicki, who was YouTube’s CEO from 2014 to 2023, has four other children with her husband, Dennis Troper.
