Trump musical about ex-wives, Stormy Daniels debuts in New York

A parody musical about former President Trump and the famous women in his life is coming to an Off-Broadway stage in New York City this month.

The musical, titled “Five: The Parody Musical,” tells a story about Mr. Trump. his wife Melania; his ex-wives, Ivana Trump and Marla Maples; His daughter Ivanka. and Stormy Daniels, the adult film actress who was paid in 2016 to remain silent about her alleged affair with Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen.

“Five: The Parody Musical” is inspired by the British musical comedy “Six,” which centers on the six wives of King Henry VIII.

“Ready to make America laugh again, FIVE is an irreverent musical comedy revue starring several women from the lives of America’s past (and hopefully not future) presidents. Ivana, Mara , Melania will be joined by crowd favorite Storm and daddy’s girl Ivanka, each of whom will take the spotlight and sing their hearts out for your vote.” The musical states on its website:

“Ivana. Mara. Melania. Storm. Ivanka…divorced. Girlfriend, Larias. Uncensored,” reads the show’s tagline.

The four-week run began with previews last week and will be open to the public through March 10th at off-Broadway theater venue Theater 555. Tickets are normally $49.

This comes nearly a month before the March 25 scheduled start of the former president’s hush money trial stemming from payments Cohen made to Daniels before the 2016 election. The former president faces 34 charges of falsifying Cohen’s business records over a repayment he made to Cohen in 2016.

President Trump has denied any relationship with Daniels and maintains his innocence. The trial is expected to be the first criminal trial for the former president, who faces dozens of charges in three other criminal cases.

Mr. Cohen told The New York Times last week that he saw the script for the musical and thought it was “smart and funny.” He also told the outlet that he had been working on his own material beforehand, but there are no parts that portray him in the show, but rather references to him.

“It really should sound like me, otherwise it’s not authentic,” he said. “I think my sense of humor is strong enough. This is a complete comedy. It’s not a routine. It’s just a few minutes between acts.”

The cast of the show includes Anyae Anasia, Gabriella Joy Rodriguez, Jamie Lynn Beatty, Gabi Garcia, and Hannah Bonet. Per playbill.

According to Playbill, the original story and lyrics for the musical were written by Simmy Brown and Moshir Newman Dafna, with Billy Lessy also writing the lyrics and music.is instructed by Jen Weinmanhas directed a series of New York, regional, university, and touring productions.

The Hill has reached out to Weinman for further comment.
