Gutfeld: If you can’t identify a victim, the crime had to be reverse-engineered

newYou can now listen to Fox News articles.

Happy Presidents Day everyone! I know. Today, we honor all those who have held the nation’s highest office. Well, you destroy them, unless you don’t like them.

Democratic Judge Arthur Engoron just awarded Donald Trump his first $355 million settlement after finding that the president had inflated real estate prices when applying for loans. The judge issued his opinion six days before the trial began, making it a show trial. Except instead of Judge Judy, we get someone no one wants to have sex with. Now, the fact that no one complained about Trump’s activities, including the banks that financed him, says nothing to Engoron, who was robbing on camera more than the immigrants in Times Square during his trial. It didn’t seem to have any effect.

And of course, $355 million seems like a lot if you have zero debt to the bank. That’s the key. If the victim cannot be identified, the crime must be reverse engineered. Because if the crime was indeed organic, the victim would have initiated the process. Instead, they found the man and then came up with the crime.

Is it familiar? That’s my Uncle Steve. Anyway, this proud legal beagle with a drooling grin and a look that looks like he’s been forcefully medicated is the one New York AG Letitia James vows to “get” Donald Trump. He was fine with being appointed. That’s her famous quote. After all, everyone in her state has been stabbed, so there is a lack of real victims.

New York judge sets Trump trial for March 25, denies request to dismiss hush money case coercion charges

But this shows how far the left is willing to go to destroy anyone it deems a threat. So how egregious is this case other than sacrificing faith in the legal system in order to go after a political opponent? Now, here’s what respected lawyer Jonathan Turley says: “Engoron implemented Oscar Wilde’s rule that the only way to escape temptation is to succumb to it. He ordered everything short of throwing the playing cards into the wood chipper.”

Oscar Wilde? Someone is flashy. And this is Kevin O’Leary from “Shark Tank.” Gorgeous is someone who knows more about real estate than I do.

Kevin O’Leary: If you’re a developer, you’re an entrepreneur. You go to the bank and say you want to borrow $200 million to build a building. And they say, well, what can you do… What assets can you secure this loan with? And you point to a building that you built earlier and you haggle over the value of that building. Masu. This is happening in every city on earth. That’s how entrepreneurial and risk-taking real estate developers borrow money. That’s exactly what happened here.

Do you understand? If Trump is guilty of this, then so are all real estate developers. Mr. Trump, he claimed, has a certain value for his personal property. The bank agreed and lent the money, and Trump repaid it in full. Hmmm. So what’s next? Is it a death sentence if you tip with cash at Kohl’s? But New York State’s top prosecutor, Tish James, is wasting his time on this. She should be fined for impersonating a law enforcement agency.

New York state is still struggling with the effects of the coronavirus, and even if it can recover all the lost jobs, it will take years. Tourism is in decline. Immigrants are taking over thousands of hotel rooms, and the state leads the nation in population loss. My pool boys also moved to Miami. All I have to remember about them is the jar with their fingers in it. Is it too far? Or is it still not enough? So why not file a fake lawsuit that will also scare the real estate industry?

As O’Leary points out, developers should risk so much money to have a judge arbitrarily determine that they are violating some form of fraud when no harm has occurred. there is no. So they just go away. And they are. I haven’t seen so many people run away since Joy Behar washed up on the beach and had to be blown up with dynamite.

So they didn’t just ruin Trump, they ruined the city. Just like I did in the summer of 1998. Shout out to Carol, Janet and Steve. But never fear, Governor Botox is here. Kathy Hochul assures the business community that all is well. “New Yorkers who are law-abiding, rule-abiding businessmen are very different from Donald Trump and his actions, so we have nothing to worry about.” Translation: Worry Unless We Like You No need to.

Trump trial will make daytime campaigning difficult for Republican frontrunners, but ‘nothing will stop him’

Meanwhile, Trump is Trump. Last weekend, he debuted a pair of gold sneakers called the “Never Surrender High Tops.” The sneakers retail for $400 a pair, and may be the first pair of sneakers to cost more than $300 without being targeted. Of course, leftists would laugh at this, but the shoe, which was limited to 1,000 pairs, sold out in two hours. This speaks to the depth of support that Tish James and the Engoronfaire crowd have for Donald. Mr. Trump. As O’Leary said, it’s not about Trump himself. It’s about an unjust case for which no one can find a precedent.

As you know, Americans are essentially fair-minded people. We want to believe in our systems, but a system is only as good as the people in charge of it. Mr. James said he would go after Mr. Trump, but Mr. Engoron shamelessly acknowledged that he could overturn the jury’s decision if it got it wrong, raising questions about his own impartiality. .

So if people tell you who they are, you should probably believe them. I’m starting to see a pattern. It started with surveillance. If you have nothing to worry about, you don’t need to worry about us spying on you. Well, they were watching you. Next is freedom of speech. There’s nothing to worry about. That’s just hate speech. Then hate speech became disinformation. Or rather, I didn’t like what you said. This time, it is your ability to make a living. As long as you act well and don’t question their power, there’s nothing to worry about.

You can see the pattern. As long as you comply, we won’t invade your privacy, ban your speech, or take your job away. But then what’s keeping you safe for now?

Well, be a Democrat, stay silent about what the Democratic Party has done to the country, and above all, stop working for Fox. I mean, it doesn’t seem very good to me. Seriously, how often do you get arrested on obscenity charges and get acquitted this time?
