Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle” that President Joe Biden was always “half-backed.”
Anchor Laura Ingraham said, “If Biden’s people complain about age, Trump’s age, Trump’s behavior, they say, look, Trump makes mistakes, he forgets names. “I’m working on it,” he said. They’re trying to equate Biden’s decline to what’s obvious to you at 77 years old. ”
President Trump said, “He said no, there’s no question about that. But if you go back 25 years, he was always semi-declined.”
He continued: “He was never a smart guy. He’s tried to be president many times, at least four times that they know of. When he was at his weakest, all of a sudden… , that’s when he attacked and did it. If you look at me, I feel that way, and I really do, and I tell you, and you tell me too. I think, because we’ve known each other for a long time, if I feel depressed, okay, let’s use a good word, if I feel degraded or degraded in any way. I think you’ll know it if you feel that way. I think he’ll say he’s not running. Someone should tell him. If he runs, he’ll run. He doesn’t seem like that, but he’s so persistent. I hear that.”
Trump added: “I think most of the people running are stubborn and persistent and don’t want to let go of the ghost.”
