The co-anchor opened up about Isabella starting chemotherapy this month and showed a clip of her recent video blogs“She bravely documented her journey on YouTube in hopes that others with the same diagnosis will feel supported and know they are not alone.” says.
“She’s getting over it,” he explained. “The last three days have been a little difficult because her fever has been going up and down.”
Strahan said he took her to the hospital and assumed she would be home in a few hours. But he said it was “three days.”
“But I hope she comes home today,” he added.
Strahan said he is doing “well” and credits the support of colleagues and others who have reached out and sent love.
“I don’t think anything happened that we didn’t expect,” he said. “Nothing has happened to her that she didn’t expect. It’s tough to watch her go through it, but she’s a tough young woman and I’m sure she’ll get through it.” I know.”
