Francisco Lindor hit the Mets’ first home run of the spring, over the right-field fence during live batting practice with Yaxel Rios.
Lindor also hit a double against left-hander Danny Young.

Bullpen prospect Austin Adams faced Starling Marte, Lindor, Jeff McNeil, Omar Narvaez, Pete Alonso and Harrison Bader, but didn’t allow a hard-hit ball.
It caught my eye
“I should have caught that one,” Bader joked after hitting the ball to shallow center on a field with no defenders.
Thursday schedule
The Mets continue full-team workouts ahead of Saturday’s Grapefruit League opener against the Cardinals in Port St. Lucie.
