Another series focused on faith, going homeis entering its second season on Great American Pure Flix. Other recent ones include: Saved by Grace and live + local.

Producer Sean Bosky county rescue and the CEO of Canyon Productions (Divine influence, redeeming love, heaven-sent one), said the television series would be a natural fit for family-friendly streaming platforms such as Great American Pure Flix.

“I think they’re trying to tune in to what the audience wants,” Bosky told Christian Headlines.

Creator and director Brian Bo (I’m not ashamed to find you and the world we’ll create), said the television format allows writers to be more creative.

“I hadn’t worked much in the television world,” he told Christian Headlines. “So I was really excited to experiment with that medium. And it’s really fun to not have to have everything close up and just have these more open-ended story arcs. And cliffhangers. You can also be creative and dig deeper into the characters. That’s what television offers and it’s really great.”

The series depicts God at work in the daily lives of lifeguards, Bosky said.

“I care a lot about how God appears in stories,” he said. “And that’s the life we live. We don’t walk around telling everyone about Jesus every moment. But the Lord certainly has a deep impact on our lives. That’s why I was excited to see the series come together as the characters integrate their faiths. This format is built for adventure and adversity.”

He added, “I think the audience will enjoy it, too.”
