Knicks’ answers to three questions may decide their season

Three questions about the Knicks’ second half starting Thursday:

1. Can the Knicks stay in contention until their starting frontcourt returns?

The Knicks won their first three games with Julius Randle, OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson sidelined at the same time, and will look to continue the W with multiple injured role players scheduled to return.

2. Is there a chance some or all of those players will return?

Based on their media appearances over the past two days, neither Randle nor Anunoby have resumed practice or appear to have resumed practice, with Robinson aiming to return later in the season.

3. Can Jalen Brunson raise his MVP level?

The first-time All-Star has scored at least 30 points in 11 of his last 15 games.
