As stupid as it sounds, I’m not a 35-year-old dumb porn addict who makes all kinds of disposable income off of things I don’t care about because my parents refused to kick me out of the house.

buzzfeed teeth Bigoted, brilliant, fascist, cruel, self-righteous, a fake news machine, a left-wing cancer on our culture. Back when BuzzFeed, which once employed hundreds of people, still ran BuzzFeed News, these clowns wrote article after article predicting the demise of Breitbart News. Well, now BuzzFeed News is defunct and Breitbart News is hiring.
The main thing BuzzFeed failed to grasp is that its business model is not built to last. There are only so many interesting things you can do with a listicle. Additionally, targeting the product to young people limits its shelf life. Youth culture is constantly changing. In the 1960s, young people were hippie activists. In the 70s, young people rejected the 60s and had a good time with cocaine and disco. In the ’80s, everyone was having a great time wearing Izod shirts. And more… BuzzFeed was created for the digital generation, now nearing 30 years old, who are too busy worrying about cultural appropriation and gender dysphoria to “ They are being replaced by shallow, polite, humorless nerds who just say “Ah” and “Ah”.
What remains is what has always lasted: truth, wisdom, facts, depth, and timeless ideas. There’s a reason classic movies and books are classic and timeless. These things still speak to us. The same goes for news organizations. All BuzzFeed delivered was a sugar high and a pop of endorphins. Every BuzzFeed News broadcast was a lie and an arrogant declaration of right and wrong based on the zeitgeist as opposed to enduring principles.
BuzzFeed has been nothing but smarter-than-thou propaganda, cynical distance, and sarcasm.
