A prominent Alabama judge was injured Saturday when a domestic disturbance turned into a shooting at his home. According to reports, the judge’s son was arrested and detained after the incident. fox news digital.
Khalfani Ahmed Hardwick, 36, reportedly shot and killed his father, Montgomery County Circuit Judge Johnny Hardwick, as a result of what began as a domestic disturbance.

Khalfani remains in jail on felony charges of first-degree domestic violence and “discharging a prohibited pistol at a specified person,” according to online records.
Khalfani reportedly has a history of violence. He was charged with attempted murder in 2017. He did not appear at the 2016 trial, but he agreed to plead guilty to shooting Clayton Riley in the back of the head in 2014. However, his charge was reduced to second-degree assault.
