This guy really flipped the lid.
A customer at a McDonald’s in Boston, enraged after an employee touched his drink lid, punched the hapless employee in the face, police said Sunday.
Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority Transit Police said the fast food fight occurred at the South Station transit station around 7 p.m. Saturday, when an unnamed 34-year-old patron allegedly attacked the worker “several times” for apparent indiscretion. ”He said he hit her. He spoke on Sunday’s X.
The suspect was handcuffed and taken to MBTA police headquarters for booking, and officers were treated for injuries at the scene, the department said.

Police did not immediately release further details about the incident.
McDonald’s employee regulations require employees to wear gloves and wash their hands regularly at least every hour when working in the chain’s food prep areas.
It is unclear if there are rules regarding touching food service containers.
Earlier this month, another McDonald’s customer in Rockland County, New York, sued the fast food giant, claiming that a slice of cheese on his hamburger nearly killed him.
Charles Olsen, who has a severe milk allergy, said he ordered a plain patty but ended up getting the wrong slice of cheese, leading to confusion.
But Olsen told the Post that she still likes to grab a bite to eat at her local McDonald’s.
