Chris Gauthier, known for his roles in “Once Upon a Time” and “Eureka,” has passed away at the age of 48.
Gauthier’s agent, TriStar Appearances/Event Horizon Talent, confirmed the news in a statement to Fox News Digital, saying, “Our friend and client Chris Gauthier has announced that on Friday, February 23rd… I can confirm that he passed away this morning at the age of 48.”
“As a beloved Vancouver-based character actor, Chris shared his talents with many on television and in film. His loss will be felt not only by his fans but also by those lucky enough to have known him. We feel it too.” More personal. ”

Tristar Appearance/Event Horizon Talent has not disclosed the cause of death, but according to Deadline, he died from an unspecified short-term illness.
Gauthier is a British-born, Canada-based actor with more than 100 film and television credits, according to IMDb.

Some of his best-known roles include Smee on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” and cafe owner Vincent on SyFy’s “Eureka.”
His co-star Colin O’Donoghue, who played Captain Hook in Once Upon a Time, expressed his condolences on Instagram.

Gauthier also appeared in films such as “Freddy vs. Jason,” “Watchmen,” and “40 Days, 40 Nights.”
