Joe Cunningham, national director of No Labels, a political group that supports third-party candidacies, said Republican Nikki Haley is a candidate who might be interested in running as a third-party candidate next November. He said it was “definitely” possible.
Cunningham said in an interview with Fox News on Sunday that Nikki Haley is among the candidates No Labels is considering.
“We’re looking for great people who have broad appeal to independents, Democrats and Republicans. And yeah, I mean, Nikki Haley is someone we’re definitely interested in,” Cunningham said. said Fox & Friends Sunday.
NoLabels has secured ballot access in only 16 states, but Cunningham expressed hope that it may be able to access all 50 states.
“The truth is, we’re talking to a lot of great people right now, but we’re not ready to announce them yet,” he said.
No Labels gained significant momentum in 2023 as Joe Biden and Donald Trump became more likely to be the Democratic and Republican candidates, respectively. The group hoped to attract disaffected voters who didn’t want either candidate, believing them to be too old, too extreme, or too out of touch.
“This is essentially a project that gives the American people a new choice. If they are dissatisfied with the presumptive nominee, which, you know, it looks like it’s going to be Trump vs. Biden now, but we don’t have I don’t know,” he said.

“Nikki Haley, she’s…remaining in the race. You can’t completely ignore her. And hats off to her for keeping it up and sticking with it,” he added.
