Multiple Fans Knocked Down and Knocked Out During Massive Brawl at UFC Mexico City Event

Saturday night’s UFC Mexico City event in the Octagon nearly escalated into chaos after a violent scuffle broke out between fans in the stands.

As usual, the cause of the fight is unknown. However, cameras caught a very serious scuffle, with at least one fan being seen being cold-knocked out.

The knocked out fan seemed to think his fight was over as he had his arms lowered and was completely unprepared for the huge left wing attack aimed at his chin. The chaotic scene showed no signs of safety. Instead, stadium staff seemed happy to let people just fight each other.

This fact was not lost on UFC President Dana White, who described the fight and lack of security as “one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.”

“The crazy thing about that fight was [is], when that fight started, it felt like it went on forever,” White said in the post-fight press conference. “I ran there and watched it. No one stopped it. I waited for the security guard to come. The security guard left them alone until the situation was over. . That’s one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.

“I don’t think that’s a bad look for the UFC. It happened and that was it. After everyone else saw that shit, I don’t think anyone thought to try it again. Security No. The fight lasted until it was over. I’ve never seen shit like that in my life. Crazy.”

But not all of the best fights took place in the stands. Flyweight Brandon Roybal defeated Mexican Brandon Moreno in a thrilling split decision fight.
