A Philadelphia man accused of stealing a car escaped from police custody while handcuffed at a hospital Monday morning, authorities said.
Aleem Bohdan, 29, is on the run after fleeing from police officers at Temple University Episcopal Hospital, 100 East Lehigh Avenue, Kensington, around 6:45 a.m. FOX29 Philadelphia report.
Two officers were returning to their patrol cars when Boudin sped away.
Philadelphia police said Bourdain’s hands were handcuffed behind his back as he fled. Surveillance video from a local gas station showed him sprinting across the parking lot with his hands behind his back.

Police immediately began searching for Bodin, but were unable to find him.
Police said Boudin was in custody Thursday on suspicion of stealing a car from a food delivery driver.

Officials said officers found Beaudin asleep in the car and arrested him. Bourdain allegedly tried to flee in his car, but crashed into a police car before officers could take him into custody.

Boudin complained of pain during the procedure, and officers took him to a hospital for treatment, where he fled.
Police said Boudin had a criminal history and did not provide specific details, but warned the public not to approach the suspect.

Authorities asked anyone with information about Bodin’s whereabouts to contact police.
