Many adult content site owners are reportedly racing to develop custom image and video generators trained on vast amounts of pornographic content.
The AI model allows users to develop their ultimate fantasy “dream girl” by describing her appearance, pose, and settings. Stephen Jones, owner of the once popular free porn site network, calls his new AI image generator a safe “artist community” for sexual exploration. But Mr Jones admitted he was having a hard time stopping the offensive language, and he said: [users] In fact, I don’t want to see what they’re typing. ”
Meanwhile, Peter Acworth, owner of fetish site Kink.com, is training his models to understand nuances such as the difference between consensual bondage and torture. Their technology suggests a completely customized and interactive porn experience. “Within two years, we will have fully AI camera girls,” predicts Jones. However, Kink.com may require human moderators to prevent abuse, a solution that is unlikely to scale.
Big questions loom around consent, publicity rights, and prevention of harm. OpenAI and Stable Diffusion use borders to block sexual images, but dedicated users distribute edits that lift these guards. Heather Knox of software company Elevated
Lawsuits also threaten free image data needed for AI models. Copyright holders have filed numerous complaints against AI companies for training their tools using public copyrighted content. If the plaintiffs succeed, the unique system supporting AI pornography will collapse.
