An illegal alien released into the United States by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is accused of sexually abusing a girl in Campbell County, Virginia.
Renzo Mendoza Montes (32), an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, arrested On February 22, he was charged in Campbell County with two counts of carnal knowledge of a child without force and one count of lewd acts on a child, both felonies.
Local police said Montes knew the 14-year-old female victim and the incident occurred in January, just months after she was released into the United States after arriving at the southern border in September 2023.
“We are particularly sensitive to the fact that these crimes involve young juveniles here in our community,” Campbell County Sheriff Whit Clark told the media. “As with any criminal investigation conducted by the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, maintaining the integrity of the case is a priority for our department and the Campbell County Commonwealth’s Attorney.”
Montez is one of the millions of illegal aliens released into the interior of the United States since President Joe Biden took office. According to Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimates, from January 2021 to December 2023, DHS admitted 6.2 million illegal aliens into the United States, nearly twice the annual birth rate in the United States. Police are not releasing additional information about the incident because it involved a child, but the investigation is ongoing.
Montez remains held at Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bail.
