White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday that President Joe Biden, 81, did not undergo a cognitive function test during his annual physical on Wednesday.
The revelation is the first time the White House has revealed whether Biden underwent cognitive testing while in office.
The president, described by the special counsel as an “elderly man with a poor memory,” did not undergo a cognitive test during his annual physical because “his doctor did not believe he needed one,” the judge said. Pierre insisted.
“Given such intense scrutiny, why shouldn’t doctors be allowed to perform the tests?” a reporter asked.
“The public needs to understand that the president passes a cognitive test every day,” Jean-Pierre argued. “Therefore, his doctors, including his neurologist, do not believe he requires treatment.”

Special Counsel Robert Hur called the president an “old man with a bad memory” in his February report on the Biden classified documents scandal.
- Hoare said Biden is not competent to stand trial for exfiltrating classified documents.
- Hoar said he can’t remember simple facts about his life, such as when Biden was vice president or when his son Beau died.
A Quinnipiac poll found last week that a whopping 67% of voters think Biden is too old to serve a second term. The poll also asked voters whether they thought he had the physical and mental fortitude to serve another term as president.
- Physical fitness: 35% said yes, 62% said no
- Mental fitness: 34% said yes, 64% said no
Several lawmakers had previously called for Biden to undergo cognitive testing.
