After a shaky first start this spring, Josh Walker pitched two scoreless innings with two strikeouts. The Mets did not use a starting pitcher, choosing to play in the bullpen.

It caught my eye

The game, which featured just one walk (by Mets non-roster invitee Wilkin Ramos in the ninth inning), ran smoothly over an hour and 59 minutes.

Thursday schedule
