A Florida strip club employee has been arrested for allegedly hitting an “intoxicated” customer with a “pile” of cash after he refused to tip a dancer.
Victoria Jones, 28, was charged with a misdemeanor after she admitted to “picking up small amounts of money and throwing them at customers” at Body Talk Topless Club in Port St. Lucie, according to court documents. Obtained from The Smoking Gun.
The arrest affidavit does not say whether Jones was a stripper or had another job at the club.
However, she was found wearing all black in her office, documents state.
The complainant, John McKelvey, 24, told police that the dancers were “angry that they didn’t tip,” but that he “didn’t see any signs requiring tipping.” Ta.
“Employees were upset about it.” [McKelvey] I never threw money at them because it was common knowledge at the facility,” the affidavit states.
Angry, Jones “slapped the victim twice and spat on him,” the report said, and officers observed red marks on his face.
Jones then told officers that the customer was “drunk and rude” and “followed employees from table to table and was verbally abusive.”
“Mr. Jones said they were exchanging messages when she picked up a small wad of money and threw it at Mr. Jones,” he told officers. “This is a place where money is being thrown everywhere.”
But CCTV footage shows the employee throwing cash at him, then “quickly following up” and slapping him in the face, before leaning towards him “as if to spit on him”. the affidavit states.
Jones was released on $500 bail and is reportedly scheduled to be arraigned next week.
