Mr Dirkens described the toy as a “stuffed monkey” that he “hangs around his neck in the kitchen”.

However, this stuffed animal appears to more closely resemble a bear, especially considering it lacks a tail, but it’s difficult to identify since there’s only one image released.

“It reminded me of the days of slavery, when they used to hang people from trees. And I sat here and said to myself, ‘What does that mean? Someone tried to get me. Are you there?” Darkens said. CBS News new york.

A contractor allegedly left the door of Joseph Serrano’s home open, and another tenant’s apartment was also desecrated.

Serrano said the few belongings that were not destroyed in the fire at the Boulevard House on Schenck Street were stolen. Serrano showed reporters her apartment, which had been destroyed by fire, including a cabinet that had been ransacked for tattoo equipment.

“This gray affair here is where I had all my tattoo equipment, but they ended up doing it like savages.”

Police are reportedly continuing to investigate the stuffed animal hanging incident, while the building’s tenants continue to raise questions about the building’s management.

The elevators are not yet operational, and local politicians have deferred judgment from the New York City Housing Authority over the building’s poor condition. NYCHA said the matter is still under investigation.
