Two people have reportedly been arrested in connection with the gruesome discovery of two dismembered bodies found on New York’s Long Island last week, with more of the victims’ body parts discovered on Tuesday. It was done.

The identities of the suspects and their respective charges have not been made public.

A Suffolk County Police Department spokesperson did not confirm the arrest but said a search warrant was executed yesterday at 25 Railroad Avenue in Amityville. No human remains were discovered during a search of the property.

However, law enforcement officials told Fox News Digital that more human remains were discovered on Tuesday.

Part of the body was found in the woods across from 103 Lakeway Drive in West Babylon, and bodies were also found at Bethpage State Park.

Police said the bodies in both West Babylon and Bethpage are believed to be those of the same victim found on Feb. 29.

The victim, believed to be 59 years old, is being named withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Police have tentatively determined that the man was 53 years old at the time of his death.

His last known address was at the same location in Yonkers, New York, but it is unclear when he last lived there, police said.

Police say the incident is isolated and poses no threat to the public.

One resident told the Post that he saw police force their way through the door of an Amityville home last night around 10:30 p.m.

“They were banging on the door, there were a lot of people standing inside the house, and the police were talking to the neighbors. Some people had already been taken away,” she said.

The woman said she didn’t know much about the neighbors in question, other than that they were tenants who worked night shifts and had brought in several tenants.

The series of gruesome discoveries began Thursday morning when a girl on her way to school discovered a severed arm on the side of the road east of Suthers Pond Park.

This led to a police search and further body parts, including the man’s right arm and right leg, were discovered.

A woman’s severed head, legs and arms were found by police in New York late Thursday, and the New York Post reported that a man’s severed head was found. Police did not say what parts of the body were found today.

Meanwhile, some members of the notorious Bloods street gang and 31 of their associates were indicted last month on a 103-count indictment for terrorizing Long Island residents. They include robberies and shootings, including the death of a schoolteacher who was shot after his car was rammed. He was mistaken for a member of a rival gang.

However, it is unclear whether Thursday’s discovery is related to gang violence in the area.
