Biden Doesn’t Need to Act on Border, Blaming Trump Is ‘All You Need’

On NewsNation’s Super Tuesday, Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.) answered a question about whether President Joe Biden needs to take executive action on the border issue to bring it back to the Republican Party in 2024. Presidential candidate said former President Donald Trump was desecrating the borders of the Senate. The bill is “all there is to say.”

Co-host Leland Wittert said, “I know you’re going to say that President Biden can blame the Republicans over and over again for not passing the Senate bill. Joe Biden is going to take this issue back. Do we need to announce an executive order on immigration on Thursday?”

“Frankly, when Mr. Trump announced that he wanted to make America worse, he wanted to make this problem worse, and that’s why he opposed the compromise that came out of the Senate,” Sherman said. “I think that’s what you’re all about.” I need to say it. When any political party says it wants to make the problem worse in order to blame the other side, it is voicing the quiet part. No one wants to vote for a candidate who is trying to make the country worse for political reasons. ”

He added, “I think Biden will win on this issue, not just as a ‘border issue,’ but in that sense, we don’t have a president who just cares about America, we have a president who cares about America and wants to make America better.” “We want to elect the president we want,” he added. For himself. So I think we’re in good shape.”
