Former WWE Star Elias Uses Platform to Promote the Gospel Following Release From the Company

Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Elias (real name Jeffrey Ciullo) is using his platform to promote the gospel of Jesus Christ after leaving the organization after nearly 10 years.

“The good news of the gospel is Jesus,” Elias, who now goes by the name Elijah, said in a recent TikTok video. “We need to highlight what happened on the cross.”

“We need to look at everything through the lens of the work completed on the cross. You know that event that bisected human history?” the former WWE star added.

Elijah went on to explain the gospel and said: “We know that God came into fallen humanity. The Word became flesh. He lived among us. He lived a perfect life. Jesus He was crucified and buried, and rose on the third day. And he ascended into heaven.”

“So this is amazing,” Elijah continued, “because he died for the remission of sins.” “What a great gift there is and it just doesn’t stop. We see that he has involved us every step of the way. His cross has become our cross. His cross has become our cross. Barriers, our barriers. And he has lifted us up into a new life, and we have become one with him.”

“And He seated us next to our Heavenly Father,” Elijah said. “In God we are, and in us is God. There is complete oneness. There is no distance between you, God, and the universe; God is all about you.” I did it because I loved it.”

“Guys, this is amazing,” the former WWE star declared. “Great news. There’s something to be excited about. We need to understand the spiritual reality. And besides being a free gift, it costs everything to Jesus.” It costs nothing.”

So Elijah asked. “So what should we do?” What should we do with this good news? ”

“It’s not, ‘God did his part, now I have to do my part.’ No, God did everything,” he said. “If you think you have to take up your cross every day, ask Jesus whose cross he took up.”

“So what if I give you such great news for free? Just enjoy it,” Elijah declared. “When you enjoy Jesus, you are glorifying God. That’s good news. Don’t lose sight of that.”

Elijah was released by WWE in September following a series of roster cuts. He has always been an outspoken Christian and even named his 2020 album with WWE Music Group “Universal Truth,” which featured a hit song titled “Amen.”
