Belichick’s schedule may not be as hectic these days, as he parted ways with the Patriots after scoring a historic 24 points, including six titles and nine Super Bowl appearances, tied for the most in NFL history.

At this point, Belichick typically scouts talent at the combine in preparation for the next NFL campaign, but the coach has yet to take that talent to another team.

Belichick has indicated he wants to continue coaching, but it’s a question of whether the organization is willing to take on a veteran coach and whether his potential demands dictate decisions in various areas.

Many expect him to return to the coaching position in 2025, and we’ve heard that from many NFL owners as well. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

“I will always be a Patriot,” Belichick said in announcing his departure from New England. “I’m looking forward to being back here, but for now I’m going to move on. I’m looking forward to the future and I’m excited. The opportunity here, the support here, and the support Robert ( I’m always very grateful for everything Kraft has done for me. Thank you.”

In 24 seasons in Foxboro, Belichick compiled a 266-120 regular season record and won 17 AFC East titles. That includes an 11-game winning streak from 2009 to 2019, the longest streak in NFL history.
