A German man has reportedly received more than 200 coronavirus vaccine doses since the pandemic began, ignoring his doctor’s advice.
The Lancet Infectious Diseases journal records that the 62-year-old man has received 217 COVID-19 vaccinations over a 29-month period using vaccines purchased and administered privately. according to Go to BBC News. Researchers at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg say no injuries or illnesses have been reported in people who received the coronavirus vaccine.

The newspaper said that after being contacted, the man readily agreed to participate in various tests conducted by the facility. He provided blood and saliva samples.
“We learned about his case from a newspaper article,” said Dr Kilian Schober from the university’s microbiology department. “We then contacted him and recommended him to undergo various tests in Erlangen. He was very interested in doing so.”
“Using these samples, we were able to determine exactly how the immune system responds to vaccination,” Shober added.
Researchers reportedly expressed concern that the human immune system would be overstimulated and that certain cells might become fatigued. However, this man had never been infected with the new coronavirus, and there was no evidence that he had been harmed by repeated vaccinations. “Importantly, we are not recommending over-vaccination as a strategy to enhance adaptive immunity,” the researchers said.
The university obtained evidence of 130 vaccinations allegedly given by the man through a fraud investigation conducted by Magdeburg city prosecutors, the newspaper said. No criminal charges were filed.
