An “aggressive and physically intimidating” group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators attacked the Federal CJA building in Montreal and the Holocaust Museum on Monday night to prevent members of the Jewish community from attending a scheduled event. The entrance was blocked.
According to a statement released by Federation CJA, Montreal’s main Jewish community organization, the mob attacked the Côte-des-Neiges building where an event titled “Israeli Perspective: Birth of Life” will be held at 6 p.m. surrounded.

According to a promotional poster shared on social media, the event will feature Israeli guest speakers Nir Yosef, Ori Itzaki and Abiy Borkovic, and will feature a Canadian lecture aimed at “fighting the delegitimization of Israel.” It was done as part of a tour.
In response, a judge in Montreal Banned Pro-Palestinian demonstrations were held for 10 days near Jewish institutions and places of worship.
Canada has seen a number of vocal anti-Israel demonstrations since the Hamas attack, including one targeting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has criticized Israel’s response to the attack.
