Investigators in Florida have arrested a father accused of “severely” beating his 4-month-old daughter to death, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.

The sheriff claimed Kubayi was checking on the baby every 10 minutes, adding: “We thought that was a little strange… at 7:50 he was feeding the baby and at 8:00 he was checking on her.” I checked on him again at 8 o’clock,” he added. At 10 p.m., he checked on her and she noticed the baby was unresponsive. ”
Kubai reportedly took the unresponsive baby to Bartow Regional Hospital, where the baby arrived in cardiac arrest with no brain activity and had numerous physical injuries, prompting Bartow police to respond. fox 35 report. Police said hospital emergency room staff stabilized the baby girl before she was airlifted to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, where the infant sustained multiple impact bruises to the head. announced that it had been found out.
Sheriff Judd said the baby survived for two days despite suffering “10 different bruises” to his forehead and “10 broken ribs, likely from strangling the baby.” .
Dr Judd added: “There was a significant skull fracture in the back of the head, which the coroner said was caused by impact with a hard object.” The baby was literally bludgeoned to death. Jacob was the only one home at the time. ”
Judd noted that Kubayi has no mental illness or criminal history, adding, “Depending on the severity of this injury, he may see people from time to time. Why did God allow them to get some air?” This is where I wonder why God allowed him to breathe air.”
According to FOX35, police charged Kubai with aggravated manslaughter of a child, aggravated child abuse, and two counts of intentionally abusing a child without bodily harm.
