Exclusive: Former President Donald Trump slammed President Biden and the State of the Union address Thursday night, telling Fox News Digital that Biden is apparently “suffering from a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
The former president and potential Republican nominee responded to Biden’s speech in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital.
Biden criticizes Trump multiple times in State of the Union address
“He was angry, mentally disturbed, and misrepresented many facts on nearly every subject we discussed,” Trump said.
“But he got through it. He was still breathing and they didn’t have to carry him out in a straight jacket,” President Trump said. “Other than that, I think he did a terrible job.”

During his more than hour-long speech, Biden never mentioned Trump by name, instead referring to him as “my predecessor” on issues such as abortion, immigration and Russia’s war against Ukraine. I called it out a few times.
“He is suffering from a terminal case of Trump Derangement Syndrome, which can only be treated by impeachment,” President Trump told Fox News Digital.

When asked why Biden keeps bringing him up, Trump replied, “Because polls show me leading Biden by 14 points.”
“He was very angry, but that’s also kind of a problem, a symptom of old age,” Trump said. “He shouldn’t be at this age because he’s a young guy compared to other guys his age who are very successful.”

Trump’s comments came after he played live of Biden’s State of the Union address on Thursday night’s Truth Social show.
The former president and presumptive Republican nominee complained about Biden’s repeated coughing fits throughout the speech, the time it took him to address the crisis at the southern border (about 40 minutes), and his “screaming.” He vehemently criticized everything. .
Trump’s comments also came after he won a landslide victory in the Super Tuesday primary, prompting his last Republican opponent, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, to suspend campaigning.

President Trump slammed Biden as a “threat to democracy” in a post on Truth Social Thursday night after the speech.
“He weaponized the government against his adversaries. He didn’t talk about it and it’s never happened before!” Trump posted.
