I Regret Using ‘Illegal’ for ‘Undocumented Person’ Suspected in Riley Case

host Jonathan Capehart asked. “I noticed the look of surprise on your face when you walked into the chamber and saw Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.). That was priceless. You pretended to be shocked to see her. But in response to her heckling you, you used the word “unlawful” when talking about the man who allegedly killed Laken Riley. I used the word.”

“He’s an illegal alien,” Biden said. “And he shouldn’t have used the word ‘illegal,’ he should have used it — it’s undocumented.” And, you know, when I talked about the differences between Trump and me, one of the things I talked about at the border was the way he talked about pests, the way he talked about people contaminating blood. We talked about what not to do and what not to do. I don’t mean to treat these people with contempt. You see, they built the country and that’s why our economy is growing. We must control our borders. [have] It’s a more orderly flow, but I don’t agree with him at all. ”

Capehart then asked, “So do you regret using that word?”

Mr. Biden answered, “Yes.”
