Comedian Dana Carvey recently drew a new impression that a clumsy President Biden is upending the border crisis with pointed Bidenism, heavy-handed challenges, and gibberish.

Carvey shared that impression during an episode of the “Superfly” podcast with fellow comedian David Spade. I tweeted the clip Bit of a bit. This impression is in two parts, starting with Biden’s denial of the border crisis shortly after his election, and more recently with the president’s acknowledgment of the crisis amid public backlash.

“I started with Biden because border issues are all the rage right now and everyone is obsessed with the border,” Carvey began. “So I did Biden three years ago. He’s at a press conference.”

When reporters asked the president how he planned to address the crisis at the border, Carvey said, Biden calmly replied, “Let’s get the facts straight. There’s no crisis at the border. Come on.” .

Mr. Carvey continued: “and [the press goes]”How do you know?”

“Because it says so on the paper!” Mr. Carvey’s Mr. Biden replies, holding up a piece of paper. “That’s what it says on the paper over there.”

“And these days,” Carvey said, assembling the next part of his impression, “everybody wants to close the borders. We’re going to close the border harder than we closed the border!’ So, I know how to close the border. Come on, Jack! ”

“But last time…” Carvey told reporters.

“Get your facts straight! I’m going to beat the hell out of you,” Carvey’s now-inflamed Biden responded, before launching into some bombastic Biden-ism. “What, pony shoulders at a dog’s pace? Come on, let’s do some push-ups! We’re going to close the border like no one has ever closed a border before – I can’t believe the Border Patrol – the border – isn’t butter. do not have!”

When Carvey finishes speaking, Spade and the off-screen producer can be heard laughing.

During his first term, Biden ended many of former President Donald Trump’s border and immigration policies, steps that Republicans say led to the ongoing crisis at the southern border.

A recent Monmouth poll showed Biden’s approval ratings declining over his handling of immigration, while a recent Fox News poll found a majority of voters said they were worried about the situation at the southern border. It shows that, if not an emergency, they at least consider it a serious problem.
