Teen Arrested After Street Brawl Captured In Graphic Video Leaves Girl In Critical Condition

Police arrested a 15-year-old girl on Saturday after allegedly hitting and critically injuring another teenage girl at a Missouri high school, Fox 2 News reported.

Authorities have found a girl suffering from severe head injuries after her head was repeatedly slammed into concrete during a fight on the grounds of Hazelwood East High School. according to to a St. Louis County Police Department spokesperson. The victim was then taken to the hospital and is currently in critical condition. On Saturday, police arrested a 15-year-old suspect on suspicion of assault, the paper said. “Anytime a child is hurt, it’s a tragedy,” the Hazelwood School District said in a statement, according to FOX 2 News. “This is a problem that we need to work towards solving.”

Video shows a crowd of what appears to be teenagers gathering around a series of fights that break out. During one match, a woman was seen pushing her opponent to the pavement and punching him. After the violent assault, the woman broke away, leaving her partner visibly writhing on the pavement.

“The Hazelwood School District extends our deepest condolences to everyone involved and will provide additional emotional support from our Outreach and Crisis Management teams to those in need. We look forward to working with all of you in this difficult time, pledging to show kindness and respect to the families involved and to work toward the betterment of our entire community,” the district added in a statement. .

One Twitter user said the video shows people “just standing there watching, filming, or both” while the girl “jerks on the floor.” was called a “dystopia”.

“This literally brought me to tears. Poor girl holding on to the sidewalk. Who would raise a child to do something like this with no remorse or restraint? The parents need to go to jail too,” the ex said. New Hampshire Congresswoman Victoria Sullivan tweeted.
