Patient ready to go under knife again limb-lengthening doc Kevin Debiparshad

Similar to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Hugo Ramirez has high aspirations.

Ramirez, who underwent painful leg lengthening surgery to increase his height from 5 feet 9 inches to more than 6 feet, is already planning to go under the knife again to add another three inches.

He plans to spend $80,000 on a second cosmetic surgery to achieve his 6ft 4in height, but after the first surgery he had to relearn how to walk.

As leg lengthening surgery continues to grow in popularity, Ramirez reportedly wants to try out a new technology being rolled out by Dr. Kevin Devipershad, who runs Limplast-X Institute and works with clients around the world. He is enthusiastic about this.

When he first visited the clinic in early 2023, he was 5 feet 9 inches tall, the average height for a man.

“Even if you’re 5 feet 9 inches tall, you still have to fight to get where you need to get. That means you have to earn respect.” I don’t even know how he gets his status. Maybe it’s because he’s tall,” said patient Hugo Ramirez. told KSNV.

Many sacrifices had to be made to make the surgery a success.

He told the station he had to lose a lot of weight through gastric sleeve surgery, dropping from 215 pounds to 197 pounds. Then, after his limb lengthening surgery, he had to teach himself how to walk again.

“The most painful part was having to re-walk because of muscle atrophy,” Ramirez, who is sometimes confused with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, told KSNV. “The cruelest part of the surgery was the muscle atrophy. It was the worst.”

Debiparshad has been around for many years and can extend your limbs up to 6 inches.

In 2020, he said he used “painful equipment” to get the job done.

The device is inserted into the upper or lower limb, and the patient uses a remote control to activate the device, which stretches the bone in stages.

The Harvard-trained doctor noted that last month, patients from South America, Europe, Canada and about a dozen states flocked to Las Vegas, where RimPast X is located, to gain inches.

Deviparshad told KSNV over the weekend that there are new technologies that can make recovery more seamless.

“There’s a fourth generation implant that was recently launched called Precision Max. It’s a stronger implant. It has better weight-bearing ability, so patients can actually move and walk right after surgery. It will be like this,” Devipershad told the station.

Coach Ramirez plans to use the new mechanism to grow a few more inches in the coming months.

“I have everything. I don’t need anything else. But height has always been a thing for me, and I’ve always seen people who are taller than me,” Ramirez said. “I’ve always respected them.”
