Trump renews call to debate Biden ‘any time, any place’

Former President Trump on Tuesday renewed his call for a debate with President Biden, saying it is in the national interest.

President Trump: “In the interest of this country, which is now in decline, and to inform the American people of what is going on in this country, we will immediately begin a full-fledged debate between Crooked Joe and Honest Don.” We have to hold a meeting.” I wrote this at the beginning of Tuesday In true social.

“Ready to go, anytime, anywhere!” he added.

Mr. Trump, who did not participate in any of the Republican primary debates, called for him to face Mr. Biden in last week’s debate, saying it was “important” to the national interest.

In December, he said in a radio interview that he was looking forward to debating Biden and proposed 10 debates. The former president then said in February that he wanted to discuss Biden “now.”

“If it were me, I would debate,” Biden said at the time.

“He has nothing else to do,” the president added.

Biden’s campaign said in December that it had not yet discussed the possibility of a debate with Trump in the general election. The incumbent said last week that the debate among party leaders would depend on Trump’s “actions.”

Both sides officially turned their attention to a 2020 rematch in November after nearly sweeping victories in their respective Super Tuesday primaries.
